Mariam Hotaki

Mariam is a student studying International Relations with a focus on International Peace and Security at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, United States. She has interned with Peter Bergen at the New America Foundation, in DC and with the International Organization for Migration in Oslo, Norway where she worked with Afghan, Iranian and Yemeni immigrants living in Oslo.

She is an active blogger and contributor to a number of Afghan Newspapers; where she writes on International Relations, Sociology and feminism. One of Mariam’s autobiographical pieces has also featured in the Khaled Hosseini Foundation newsletter.
