Naheed Farid MP

Naheed Farid is a Member of Afghanistan Parliament, House of Representatives. She was born in Herat City in 1984, she graduated from the Mahboobai Herawi High School and in 2007 she earned a bachelor’s degree in law and politics from Herat University. Two years later she was awarded her master’s degree in international relations from the George Washington University in the United States.

Naheed is currently a member of the international relations committee in Parliament. She previously served as a temporary secretary of the Wolesi Jirga and has worked for several NGOs and the World Food Program (WFP). She runs the family Farid Foundation, which has provided stationery and clothes to 70,000 school children in Herat. Farid is also a member of the International Youth Association.

Naheed Farid is said to be the youngest member of Wolesi Jirga. She said that she won’t join any party or Parliamentary group because she does not want to want to work for their interests, but for the national interest.

The Herat MP has fully supported her political career. As part of her campaign her husband Farid, along with six doctors from the family, offered free medical checks and treatments. Naheed said that people from all societies voted for her because they liked her opinions and her motto: “Careful selection, responsible parliament and wise government.” You can read more about Naheed on her website.

Naheed Farid is one of the talented and super active in path of rights and general politics,who her speech to the poblic have a tromendist effect and impact on Afghan society.
She can be the representative of Human rights and low enforcment in Afghanistan.

Naheed is the most talented genius women of the Afghan community. I am not familiar with her but I have seen her comments and listened to her interviewed, which make me feel better and proud of her being in my Afghan community.
